Orientation: An Umbrella women NGO, viewed as an independent civil democratic
movement; not subordinated to any political body. It has developmental humanitarian
goals and it is open to all intellectual currents which believe that the advancement of
woman is the actual measure for the progress of the society.
Aims: Coordinating the woman NNGOs to build democracy, law enforcement,
human rights and work to eliminate violence and all forms of discrimination against
women in the new Iraq.
2) The Network Aims
The Network works to achieve:
· Coordinating work and cooperation among the member org. and others to
develop the role of the Iraqi Woman Movement through the democracy and
multiplicity framework by respecting the privacy principle.
· Exchanging info and know-how and developing abilities and administrative,
organizational and programming skills of the Net’s members.
· Looking forward toward achieving social balancing by confirming woman’s
role in decision making fields and in the process of building the bases of
democracy, justice, equality and peace in the Iraqi Constitution.
· Affecting the general policies, legislations and social practices to eradicate all
forms of woman discrimination.
· Fighting all severity forms against women.
· Attempting to coordinate with different official and non official actors to form
a national strategy to raise the Iraqi woman’s level.
· Consolidating solidarity and cooperation with women’s struggles and
movements worldwide for equality, justice and peace.
3) Work Mechanisms
1. Arrange periodical meetings among women NNGOs to exchange experience
and expertise as well as to issue support consolidating procedures. Also,
forming pressure groups to fulfill these aims.
2. Make training workshops to develop the NGOs abilities to strengthen their
effective role in the democratic, political and social alteration process in Iraq.
3. Organizing various activities like forums, conferences, workshops and activate
research on women’s participation in building the democratic civil society, in
decision-making sides, in the woman’s role in the development process and
highlighting forms of woman discrimination in all fields.

4. Build a database on different woman NNGOs stating their aims, activities and
work methods and forward it to all researchers and interested sides.
5. Issue news periodicals to enhance dialogue and coordination among woman
NNGOs to unfold their activities.
6. Work to access financial resources for the net’s work plan.
4) The Network’s General Assembly
· It includes the entire member Woman NNGOs.
· Each NGO’s representation in the Net is limited to two members; the first is
considered as an original member and the second as an alternate one.
· Each NNGO has only one vote in the voting process. Resolutions shall be
taken by consensus.
· Each NNGO shall pay ID 3000 as a monthly subscription.
· The General Assembly shall meet monthly according to the agenda supplied
by the coordination committee at least 48 hours before the meeting.
· Applying for the Net’s membership shall be performed by handing a
membership request attached by a two-member recommendation certified by
the coordinating committee.
5) The Coordination Committee
The coordination committee works to :
· Organizing regular meetings in order to prepare a seasonal work plan and
move along to implement it through cooperation with the Net’s members.
· Developing the relations with the woman NNGOs in the governorates to
enlarge the Net’s work there.
· Representing the Net in official and non official actors whether national or
international.
· Forming specialized committees to support the Net’s activities ( projects:
media, legal, organizational and financial ).
· Cooperating with donating actors to implement the Net’s programs and
projects.
· Coordinating and cooperation with Arab and International NGOs.
8) Slogans
1. Woman representation rate should be no less than 40 % in the decisionmaking
fields-this is the demand of the Iraqi women.
2. Support nominating women in the National Transitional Assembly and
Governorates Assemblies.
3. A corporate representation of man and woman in the National Transitional
Assembly and Governorates Assemblies is a basic step to build a democratic
and multiple Iraq.
4. No democracy in Iraq without women active participation in the decisionmaking
process.

5. Verbalizing the constitution and the future of the rule in our country is the
question of all citizens is those men or women.
6. Glory and immortality for woman martyrs for the freedom, equality and
democracy causes.
7. Together to stand against woman discrimination, sectarianism and fanaticism
in our new Iraq.
8. We object to order 137 which consecrate sectarianism and fanaticism in the
Iraqi family and society.
9. Women are Citizens that enjoy all the Citizenship Rights in Political,
Economic and Social Scopes.
10. The society progress depends on the freedom of woman and having her
lawful human rights.
11. The woman is a life maker who has the right to participate in building a safe
and free life for herself and her family.
12. No more gender, nationality, religion, belief or political discrimination in our
new Iraq.

رؤیة الشبكة: إطار نسائي غیر حكومي، كتجمع دیمقراطي مدني مستقل، وغیر تابع لأیة جھة

المقیاس الحقیقي لتقدم المجتمع.
وتستھدف الشبكة تنسیق جھود المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة غیر الحكومیة في بناء الدیمقراطیة
وسیادة القانون وحقوق الإنسان، والعمل على إلغاء العنف وكل مظاھر التمییز ضد المرأة، في
العراق الجدید.
ثانیا:ً أھداف الشبكة
تنسیق العمل والتعاون، فیما بین المنظمات المنضویة في الشبكة، وكذلك مع التجمعات ·
والمنظمات الأخرى، لتطویر دور الحركة النسائیة العراقیة، في إطار التعددیة والدیمقراطیة،
مع احترام مبدأ الخصوصیة.
تبادل المعلومات والخبرات، وتطویر القدرات والمھارات البرنامجیة والتنظیمیة والإداریة ·
لأعضاء الشبكة.
السعي لتحقیق التوازن الاجتماعي، في تأكید دور النساء في مواقع صنع القرار، وفي عملیة ·
إرساء قواعد الدیمقراطیة والعدالة والمساواة والسلام في الدستور العراقي.
التأثیر في التشریعات والسیاسات العامة والممارسات الاجتماعیة، لتصفیة كافة أشكال التمییز ·
ضد المرأة.
مكافحة كل مظاھر العنف ضد النساء. ·
السعي للتنسیق مع مختلف الجھات الرسمیة وغیر الرسمیة لوضع استراتیجیة وطنیة للنھوض ·
بالمرأة العراقیة.

تعزیز التضامن والتعاون مع نضالات النساء وحركاتھن في سائر أرجاء العالم، من أجل ·
المساواة والعدالة والسلام.
ثالثا:ً آلیات العمل
أولا:ً عقد لقاءات دوریة منتظمة بین المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة غیر الحكومیة، لتبادل التجارب
والخبرات فیما بینھا، واتخاذ إجراءات تعزیز المناصرة والدعم، وتشكیل مجموعات الضغط
وغیرھا لتحقیق أھدافھا.
ثانیا:ً عقد ورش عمل تدریبیة لبناء قدرات المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة غیر الحكومیة، من أجل
تمكینھا، وتطویر دورھا المؤثر في عملیة التحولات السیاسیة والاجتماعیة الدیمقراطیة في
العراق.
ثالثا:ً تنظیم فعالیات متنوعة من ندوات ومؤتمرات وورش عمل، وتنشیط البحث أیضا،ً حول مشاركة
النساء في بناء المجتمع المدني الدیمقراطي، وفي مواقع صنع القرار، ودورھا في عملیة
التنمیة. وكذلك تسلیط الضوء على مظاھر التمییز ضد النساء في كافة المجالات.
رابعا:ً بناء قاعدة معلومات حول مختلف المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة غیر الحكومیة، أھدافھا
ونشاطاتھا وطرق عملھا…إلخ، ووضع ھذه المعلومات في متناول ید الباحثین والمھتمین.
خامسا:ً إصدار نشرة إخباریة دوریة، وإصدارات أخرى من شأنھا تعمیق الحوار والتنسیق بین
المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة غیر الحكومیة، وتعمیم أخبار نشاطاتھا.
وكذلك تطویر العلاقة مع وسائل الإعلام المتنوعة، لإبراز أھمیة دور النساء في عملیة
التحولات السیاسیة والاجتماعیة، ومناھضة كل أشكال التمییز والعنف ضد النساء.
سادسا:ً العمل على إیجاد مصادر تمویل خاصة لخطة عمل الشبكة.
رابعا:ً الھیئة العامة للشبكة
تتألف من المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة غیر الحكومیة المنضویة في إطار الشبكة. ·
یتحدد تمثیل كل منظمة أو تجمع في الشبكة بعضوین، واحدة تعتبر عضو أصلي، والثانیة بصفة ·
عضو مناوب.
لكل منظمة صوت واحد في عملیة التصویت. وتتخذ القرارات بأغلبیة الأصوات. ·
تسدد كل منظمة عضو بدل اشتراك شھري قدره ( 3000 ) دینارأ. ·
تجتمع الھیئة العامة دوریا ،ً حسب جدول العمل الموزع علیھا من قبل لجنة التنسیق، بما لا یقل ·
عن 48 ساعة قبل موعد الاجتماع.
یجري قبول عضویة المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة الجدیدة للشبكة بتقدیم طلب الانضمام ·
وبتزكیة عضوین من الشبكة، وبمصادقة لجنة التنسیق.

خامسا:ً لجنة التنسیق
عقد اجتماعات منتظمة، من أجل إعداد خطة عمل فصلیة، والسعي لتنفیذ الخطة بالتعاون مع ·
أعضاء الشبكة.
تطویر العلاقة مع المنظمات والتجمعات النسائیة غیر الحكومیة في المحافظات العراقیة، ·
لتوسیع عمل الشبكة فیھا.
تمثیل الشبكة أمام الجھات الرسمیة وغیر الرسمیة، المحلیة منھا والعالمیة. ·
تشكیل لجان متخصصة لدعم نشاط الشبكة ( المشاریع، إعلامیة، قانونیة، تنظیمیة، ومالیة). ·
التعاون مع الجھات المانحة لتنفیذ برامج ومشاریع الشبكة. ·
التنسیق والتعاون مع المنظمات والشبكات النسائیة في الدول العربیة وفي مختلف أنحاء العالم. ·
سادسا:ً الشعارات
1. معا مًن أجل الكرامة والمساواة والسلام
2. تمثیل النساء بنسبة لا تقل عن 40 بالمائة في مواقع صنع القرار السیاسي ھو مطلب نساء

3. لا دیمقراطیة في العراق بدون مشاركة النساء الفعالة في مواقع صنع القرار السیاسي
4. تعدیل الدستور والمشاركة في الانتخابات قضیة جمیع المواطنین نساء ورجالا بًدون تمییز
5. المجد والخلود لشھیدات العراق من أجل الحریة والدیمقراطیة والمساواة
6. معا لًمناھضة العنف والتمییز ضد النساء والطائفیة والتعصب في عراقنا الجدید
7. النساء مواطنات یتمتعن بكامل حقوق المواطنة في المجالات السیاسیة والاقتصادیة والاجتماعیة
8. تقدم المجتمع رھن بحریة المرأة وضمان حقوقھا الإنسانیة المشروعة
9. المرأة صانعة الحیاة لھا الحق في المشاركة في بناء حیاة حرة آمنة وكریمة لھا ولأسرتھا
10 . لا تفرقة ولا تمییز على أساس الجنس أو القومیة أو الدین أو المذھب أو الانتماء السیاسي في
عراقنا الجدید.
